number of angles represent the value of the figure, ie. 8 angles is number
8, zero has no angles, hence it has no value:
and now have a look at the Farsi figures. It is amazing to see that only some Arab countries use their own invented figures, the others simply use Farsi numbers. Western countries use Arabic figures as we all know, as they abandoned using Latin figures.
